Privacy Policy

Bonk Royale ("the game") is designed for players of all ages, including children. We collect as little as possible. This page explains what the game handles and how advertising works.
No personal information needed
Players do not enter a name, email address, phone number or any other personal information. Names are made by combining two words from a fixed list (for example "Zippy Panda 42"), and there is no chat. A player is identified only by a random code stored on their device.
What the game stores
- On your device: a random account key, your sound settings, and (when offline) your progress. Clearing your browser data removes it, and the account cannot be recovered afterwards.
- On our servers: your random friend code, your character look and unlocks, level, coins, daily streak, your friends list and the players you recently played against (so you can add them as friends). The account key is stored only as a one-way hash.
- During a match: your flicks and emotes, used to run the game. These are not kept after the match.
- Technical data: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and basic request data to deliver the game, prevent abuse and measure aggregate traffic.
Friends and parties
Players can connect only by exchanging a friend code or by adding someone they just played against, and the other player must accept. Friends can invite each other to parties. Friends can see whether a friend is online. Anyone can remove a friend at any time from the Friends screen.
Advertising
The game is funded by ads. Where ads are shown, we use Google advertising services. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show and measure ads. You can manage personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and learn more at how Google uses information from sites that use its services. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent message appears before personalised ads. Where the game is used by children, ads are limited to non-personalised and age-appropriate content.
Children and parents
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the game never asks for it, there is normally nothing to delete. Parents and guardians can contact us at hello@playbonkroyale.com to ask us to delete an account (give us the friend code shown on the Friends screen).
Your choices
You can stop playing at any time, clear your browser data, or contact us to delete an account.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above.
